Unit 50- Role A

Do you lot know where … ? /I don't know why … / Could yous tell me what … ? etc.
When the question ( Where has Tom gone?) is part of a longer sentence ( Do you know … ? / I don't know … / Can y'all tell me … ? etc.), the word gild changes. We say:
•   What time is it? but •   Who are those people? •   Where can I detect Linda? •    How much will it toll?	Do y'all know what time it is? I don't know who those people are. Tin can yous tell me where I can notice Linda? Do you take any idea how much it will cost?
Exist conscientious with practice/does/did questions. Nosotros say:
•    What fourth dimension does the film begin? but •    What practise you lot mean? •    Why did she go out early?	Do you know what rime the picture show begins? (not does the film begin) Please explain what you mean. I wonder why she left early.
Use if or whether where at that place is no other question word ( what, why etc.):
•    Did anybody encounter y'all? only	Practise y'all know if anybody saw you? or … whether anybody saw you?
